Eye Liners come in a variety of formulas.  There are many types of eyeliner pencils. It is very important to choose an eyeliner that will not scratch or pull at the eye area.

A soft pencil works best. A powderliner pencil gives you the benefit of a powerful line, while at the same time being gently applied to your eye area. There are also waterproof eyeliners. These are a great alternative for those who have trouble with eye liners coming off. Many people who have problems with their eye watering, or eyeglasses find that a waterproof eyeliner works well. Eyeliners can also come in a liquid form. Liquid eyeliner should have a very precise brush that will help you easily line across your lash line.  The newest and most popular type of eyeliner is gel eyeliner. My gel eyeliner is waterproof and glides on so gently. You can control the thickness by the way you apply it with the gel eyeliner brush. I always recommend applying a new eyeliner prior to applying any mascara. You will find that when you apply eye liners onto your lash line it is easier to get a straight line if your mascara has not yet been applied.
